VISIT THE CHATTANOOGA AFRICAN AMERICAN MUSEUM
 

Visit the Chattanooga African American Museum, 200 E. Martin Luther King Boulevard, Chattanooga, TN  37403  (423) 266-8658

ROUTE NO. 1:  From Interstate 75 or Interstate 24

1. Traveling Interstate 75 from either Atlanta or Knoxville, take Interstate 24 to downtown Chattanooga.

2. Traveling Interstate 24 from Nashville, continue toward downtown Chattanooga.

3. Exit north on Highway 27 from Interstate 24 to the downtown area.

4. Exit east on M. L. King Boulevard (also called U.S. Highway 11).

5. Continue eastward on M. L. King Boulevard for approximately six (6)  blocks.  The museum is at the corner of M. L. King Boulevard and Lindsay Street.  Parking is conveniently located at the rear of the museum.



ROUTE NO. 2:  From the North along Highway 27

1. Traveling Highway 27 South from Dayton, Soddy Daisy, Hixson or Red Bank, continue toward downtown Chattanooga.

2. Take the second M. L. King Boulevard exit to the east (also called U.S. Highway 11).

3. Continue eastward on M. L. King Boulevard for approximately six (6) blocks.  The museum is at the corner of M. L. King Boulevard and Lindsay Street.  Parking is conveniently located at the rear of the museum.
